FAQs

Do we need to book?

We always recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment on the day. We operate on an instructor to student ratio for each session so spaces are limited.

How long is a session?

All of our sessions are two hours long, but we recommend you allow approximately 3 hours.

What if I am not a confident swimmer?

All beginner lessons take place in shallow water, where you will always be able to touch the bottom. Our experienced instructors and beach lifeguards will always be on hand. We do ask that participants are able to swim 50 meters unaided.

Is the surf/sea cold?

The sea temperature changes depending on the season. We have a great fleet of new and modern wetsuits that will keep you warm no matter what. In peak season, the sea is suprisingly warm (you'll just have to trust us on that one!).

What if it is raining?

Surfing is an ideal all-weather activity. Let's face it, you're going to get wet anyway, so we surf!

Do you do groups, stags and hen parties?

We can cater for private groups including stag and hen parties, just let us know when you book so we can accommodate accordingly.

Do you have changing facilities?

Yes we have changing rooms and storage for your belongings.

Is there any age restriction?

For group sessions the youngest is 8 years old. Please enquire about our private sessions for younger children.

When we do our lessons?

Our main season is Easter until November, but surfing sessions may be available all year round!
